Riding a jet ski = riding a mustang x riding a motorcycle + splash water falls.


I almost fell off (my brother nearly dragged me into the water), and then I did fall off. I faced one my greatest fears (swimming in the questionably murky depths of lake water) on accident.

The plus: In my bathing suit, straddling a motorized vehicle of doom, my hair wet and flying like it had a mind of its own (see: Heavenly Sword), I definitely felt like a Bond girl.


P.S.: I saw an Amish carriage today. Three times. Same carriage.

P.P.S.: I also saw an Opera today, Verdi's "La Traviata". I felt very high-society. Also, Moulin Rouge is definitely the exact same story. Who knew.

P.P.P.S.: Shut up, summer reading, just SHUT UP. (shut up, feet, just SHUT UP.)

P.P.P.P.S.: I might get a summer job/internship at Chautauqua next summer, so I would have to live up here for like 9 weeks. Sounds crazy.



Fuck yes for life experiences.

So I still have a few days left until I'm going to actually start worrying about summer assignments...

But for now, SCREW IT! Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!!

So today I went on my boat again, and seriously I'm like addicted to boating. It's so awesome! The sun and the wind and the water and the eating! AH! So good! Seriously I need to see if I can have all of you out on the boat sometime... because, just, ughhh so good.

Today I went to a Brewer's game, which was awesome! Baseball is so amazing, I forgot how relaxing sitting down with a hotdog and watching a good ballgme is. I must say I felt out of it, though, they all knew EVERYTHING about baseball and I was like "Um... I can name the line-up for the Cubs?" Yeah, that's about it. But I learned how to use a scorecard! And that's cool, I think i'll do that from now on.

Editing is an asshole. I'm enjoying re-reading my story, but the rest is BS. Like, I hate when i don't know whether to delete a stupid/pointless sentence. And then sometimes my characters will do something that is, well, completely OUT of character, so I have to change like an entire scene... And then I'll be inconsistent with stupid stuff like "Jane went to the kitchen. Jane came out of the dining room to say hello." WTF!? She was just in the kitchen, Kelsey! Goddamn! Pay attention!

So, the editing is coming along... Slowly, but surely. I'll probably do another sweep-through before I'm done, though.

HA! I DEFY YOU, SUN! I AM STILL NOT BURNED! HAHAHAHAHA!

So... Christina's party actually ended up being fun!

I'm so glad we got to swim, or else I would've just burned up in that heat. So swimming was awesome...

And AH! KS was actually surprised! I was afraid she was gonna be like "oh yeah, somebody told me..." but she wasn't! and it was really awesome, and yeah... I think she is gonna have an actual b-day party though, so I'm looking to that as well...

Capture the flag ended up being fun! I love any opportunity to sneak around and act like Sydney Bristow. I was never caught! bwahahaha!

Then we made smores and played apples to apples and then just got really slap-happy-tired... But it was fun!

Man, I love hanging out with friends in the summer. Emphasis on summer.
